Heucheras, also known as coralbells or alumroot, are a group of perennials best known for the huge variety of foliage variations. Bred for color in foliage, you can find cultivars that range from deep near-black to almost cream in leaf color, with shades in between of almost any color except blue. These hardy and beautiful semi-shade loving perennials will soon become favorites, but watch out! You won’t be able to stop at just one or two specimens.
